Confidence

A big part of being truly happy in life begins with understanding and accepting exactly who you are.  If you are confused about what you enjoy, what you’re good at, and what you value, you will have a harder time developing confidence. Without a strong sense of self, you tend to form your identity based on the opinions of others. You start to act in a way you think others would like, rather than pleasing yourself first. You begin to lose your authentic self. You give away your power!

Your confidence grows from a strong sense of self, so the key is to know yourself so well that you naturally behave in a way that shows the world your words and actions match your values. When you are in alignment, you gain personal power. That builds confidence. With confidence, you will become self-motivated and able to lead your life on your own terms. You will take responsibility for your actions and become better equipped to connect with others in a way that brings you happiness and helps you maintain meaningful relationships.

Your strong sense of self will become the model for your children. With your encouragement and example, your children will become self-aware, self-motivated, and self-assured. They will become confident!
